Over 200 people survived driving in a snowstorm to make it to the Saginaw Art Museum to meet with Larry L. Preston, the author of Forged Fates on November 17, 2022. The line to have Preston autograph their books was up to 40 people. Afterward, Preston spoke humbly about his appreciation for everyone braving the cold to support him. He talked about his concern over whether people would enjoy reading his book. He joked with everyone, “Feel free to lie to me that you like my book, even if you don’t.”
